I used light and bright Alcohol inks on glossy card stock for this background. I thought that the angel needed very little else to stand out in the magical clouds of color. The wings were re stamped on another similar background I made, and popped up and slightly bent. The word was cut from another stamp and also raised. I choose to frame this simply.
I used Kate's Angel and Bar Code Text 2.
My reign as Guest Designer for the SDC has come to an end. I hope you have enjoyed my artwork as much as I have enjoyed being here with you this month. Thanks to ALL the Designers, Kim, Carol and each and everyone of you for allowing me to play here this month. I will see you all again very soon!
Hugs, Gerrie

ReplyDeleteWhat a delight it has been to see you as the Guest Designer for Stampotique Originals, Gerrie! A "win win" in my book! Your angel image is perfect, especially with her text wings--says a lot! This is one of my favorite backgrounds, too, Gerrie, and your result tells exactly why! Bravo!

ReplyDeleteI love the staining in this technique and a lovely contrast to the graphic nature of this lovely image. I need to pull her out and play!
