For Lisa's Blogger Challenge, Stencil It!
I smooshed various distress inks on the back of the stencil and lightly sprayed with water .... pressing it down on water color paper. I added some light blue distress ink between the trees with a brush. I was quite surprised how well the trees came out. The silhouette images were stamped in black archival and stand out well in front of the background.
Until the next challenge.....
Love how your stenciled background turned out! Cute silhouette stamps!
ReplyDeleteI like this, Gerrie! The trees came out nice, they look like birch trees to me. The entire composition of silhouettes and the trees and colors blend nicely together.
ReplyDeleteI love how you created your background, Gerrie. I will definitely try this new-to-me technique. That is one adorable stamp! Perfect composition here.
