The Circus is in Town!

Here in sunny, Southwest Florida, the Circus is in town, that means that Spring is here for all of us. It was something to really look forward to when I was a kid. I think I sat for hours, my head turning here and there, my jaw hanging open....not wanting to miss a thing that was going on. The clowns, the Ringmaster, the trapeze artists, the wild animals...especially the elephants. It was really spectacular! And oh yes, the peanuts......hadda' have the peanuts. lol

This month, the Artistic Outpost Design Team Blog Hop is featuring stamps from the "This and That" collection.  I have chosen to use 2 coordinating sets, Send in the Clowns and Vintage Circus.  I had so much fun and fond memories while putting together this colorful collage....I hope you enjoy it.


This piece measures approx 9x7 and was done on glossy card stock using alcohol inks.  The images were cut and popped up to create the collage.  Various markers were used to help color some of the images.

    Now I am wanting to go to the circus! Gerrie, what a colorful and delightful card and love the alcohol inked background. Oh I do see lots of great fussy cutting! Love this! Hugs!

    I am loving this! Clowns can be a bit creepy but not yours. Everything is so colorful. I so want these stamps.

    FAB card, Gerrie!! I used to love the circus as a little girl, too! Although I do have to admit, the clowns freaked me out a little! ;) But they aren't freaking me out on your creation!:) GREAT card for this months AO Blog Hop!! XOXO-Shari
