This image is stamped on coated card stock using black Archival ink. I water colored with an almost dry water brush using Andirondack Light Inks. (The brush was void of water) If you use this tech, you need to color quickly before your brush dries out. hugs...........

Gerrie, This looks Awesome. Is this Stamp already shaded when you Stamp it, like the La Blanche ones?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful image . If only everyone had the chance to enjoy simple beauty.
Wonderful card, I love that stamp. I happen to have a bridge that looks exactly like that near me, a person tends to take it for granted when you see it all the time.
ReplyDeletethe colors on this are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the vibrant coloring!
ReplyDeleteI like how you did the colors very retro,I need to pull out this set again, I really need to do some stamping! LOL

Gerrie, this is a striking card! I love this bride, which reminds me of "The Bridges of Madison County." BTW, Happy Birthday! When I saw it was Lisa's B-Day, I remembered you share the same day! Have a blast, GF!
ReplyDeleteHi Gerrie~
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this technique with us! (Well, with me anyway.) I love the covered bridge...they are in New England for sure! This is my favorite AO Stamp Set. I will be trying this technique soon. Archival ink...I don't have any. Does Staz-on or Versa Mark work? Thanks for sharing such a fabulous card with us, Sweetie! This is great. It'd make a beautiful sky!
