Easter Parade......For The Birds -BC, meets Frilly and Funkie

You gotta' know I had so much fun creating this piece!  This week for Lisa's Blogger Challenge it's For The Birds , and this fits the Frilly and Funkie challenge too, where we are to show our vintage style.

I tried all kinds of different techniques in making the background....had some fun, took my time, and I'm happy with it!  Under all those layers are lots of different stamps.....but my main focus is on the die cuts which make up The Easter Parade.  The girls are all decked out in their finest, hats!!  I ordered a couple of die cuts recently at great prices on Blitsy,  great prices and fast service.  If you decide to check out Blitsy, please use my link when ordering.

Sorry the photo is a little out of color balance, but I can't seem to change it.  Either you'll love it or think I am stark raving mad!  lol (that could be too)

    GF, you are just adorable and so is this card! I am just hopping mad over those Easter Birds all decked out in their Sunday best! Well maybe I am Raven Mad, but I love this right down to their hats! Thank you so much for joining in the first challenge at Frilly and Funkie!

    Love your birds - they are so funkie but I wish your photo was BIGGER. I really wanted to examine them up close and personal - LOL. Great colors and textures and a terrific spring like feel.
