My First Box Card!

Trending big time are these adorable box cards, and I bit the bullet. I won't tell you how many years this took me to put together, but you can imagine! This week at Lisa's Blogger Challenge it's FLOWERS, so I just had to do this, there..... it's Lisa's fault!!

I used an SVG cuts file in my Cricut Explore to make the box. I am still very uncomfortable using the machine, but I hope to get better as time goes on. The hardest part of this for me was to choose the papers! I am not very good at that....I have hoards of patterned paper, but don't feel comfortable using it. (When I started stamping and card making, we didn't have paper like that, so I never "learned" how! I really have to force myself to use it.) I really should stop buying it, but you know how that goes, lol.  I've already started laying out my next box card, hoping that it will be easier.
