2nd & 3rd Generation Stamping

This is the Shimmering Wallpaper technique from the current issue of the Technique Junkie newsletter. It really is a beautiful technique, in real life it just glows.

Supplies used:

Stamps: Stampin' Up!, Hearts in Touch
Radiant Rain Gold & Golden Bamboo Sprays
Watercolor crayons

After I finished stamping the bamboo, I looked at the stamp and there was plenty of color left on it, I lightly misted the stamp with water and stamped 2 more times with good results. The background of the next card is actually 3rd generation! I helped it along a bit with some watercolor pencils . I mounted the image on 2 colors of nestabilities. Image was stamped with Black Archival ink and colored with markers.

When you have a chance, try the technique and be sure to look for generation stamping, it has great possibilities!

Very creative! I've got to remember to do the second stamping thing. Most times I'm lucky to get one stamping much less two!! lol
