Bloggers Challenge 28

I was out of town last week, so I missed the Inspiration Challenge....and have included it this week, along with the current challenge. Both are done in this weeks color challenge of pink and brown. The above image is from Time to Stamp. I actually made this ATC for the TTS children challenge and then converted it into a card. The ATC is done with a technique from Tim Holtz's 12 Days of Christmas Tags -this is tag Day 8, morphed a bit. I stamped in ink, he stamped in paint....the background on the ATC is done the same as his instructions. For the background on the card, I punched out all the grungeboard off the sheet and used it as a stencil, spraying with walnut ink. The grungeboard I used is textured and I used Brilliance Pearlescent Rust ink on it...it just so happened to fit exactly overthe stencil background. I just inked up the edges a bit to age the rest of the card. I personally like the textured grungeboard a little better as you don't have to work it, it's done for you.
Thanks for stopping in....hugs, Gerrie
