Bloggers Challenge this week was to use the colors Pomegranate, Olive and Brilliant Blue. I actually scribbled those colors on my brayer, dotted the brayer with a gold waterbased marker and spritzed the brayer with water. This then became a morphed Brayer Roll Technique that I submitted to Technique Junkies a while back. It's hard to believe that those 3 colors are on the cardstock above, but they are there! I then used another TJNL technique called Spritz & Flick to give the cardstock the "rained on" appearance, cool look, I think. The image is stamped with black Memories ink, then lightly colored with ink and a waterbrush. Image is from the Serenity sheet from Artistic Outpost, check them out! Hugs, Gerrie

Gerrie,
this looks awesome! What a perfect stamp to use with your background. I bet it is stunning in person!
Love the techniques you used to combine this week's color combo!
Lovely! The techniques you used really give this card a peaceful feel to go along with the sentiment.
Gerrie, this is beautiful! Love the background!

You are right, it is hard to believe that is the colors you used. Looks great.

Very creative! Way to think outside of the box!!
Have a great weekend!
VERY cool! Love that stamp, so of course I had to order it-and then saw all the others and had to have all of them, then saw the new sets coming out, so had to pre-order them...oh, this is about you...very creative! I actually thought the spots were snow at first, I think that would work with fun flock on the ground...you did an excellent job on this challenge!
The Spritz and Flick really adds to the card! So cute!
This is a very cool background technique....I will definitely have to try this! The color combo is muted with this application and so much easier on the eyes....truly a great card!
