Blogger Challenge 38

This week's challenge is appropriate, a birthday card for MY birthday! Well, it's almost my birthday.....it will be on Saturday....and I'm celebrating by giving away some blog candy! Please go here and leave a message to win! When you get there, you'll know why I used the Goodie Foodie Chef guy twice this week....he's announcing some news. When I cook, I usually wear alot of what I'm cooking, so I thought I'd do a "self portrait" kinda', and grunge this guy up with the Reinker Splash technique from the current TJNL. I thought it was appropriate, since that's usually what I land up looking like, especially on Italian night! He looks like he is singing, so I put him on a Happy Birthday background stamp that I ran through one of the new embossing folders I recently bought (and added more grunge). So, I'm off to celebrate a long birthday weekend.....and I wish a special someone a Happy Birthday too! Hugs, Gerrie
