Alcohol Ink & Metallic Paint

My friend Isa-uk posted this technique on her blog recently, and I just had to try it. You can find all the information here. I used my Silver Ranger paint dabber on my paper, then played with some denim, butterscotch and red pepper alcohol inks on top. I stamped this barn image from Artistic Outpost in black Stazon, then sat and looked at it for a couple of days, it needed help! I decided to color in the images a little with some Prismacolor pencils, and misted them gently with water. I then edged the image with gold paint. I like the final outcome of my first trial, and have some other pieces sitting on the floor waiting to be played with. Be sure to check out the big sale at Artistic Outpost and also, please visit Isa, she has a kewl blog. Hugs, Gerrie

Very cool - will have to check out that tech. Love the barn with color added to it, really brings it to life.
