Buggin' the Bamboo

I just received the new Cuttlebug Asian Folder release, and these are the best ever!! Seems to me they really are impressing the cs very deep, therefore the images are so sharp, ..........anyone else notice this? The other thing about them is they really don't need any help....just emboss...and you could really be done! They make a great bold statement without adding anything to the card. This card is done on white cs, then I used the Cuttlebug Smoosh tech from the TJNL, using only Mellow Moss SU ink. When dry, I added the moon, SU, and birds and clouds from Stampscapes. I off set the moon a bit to add some depth. The word stamp, Bamboo (zhu) is from an old stamp line, currently on hiatus.....however.... if you are interested in any of the Red Pearl stamp line, please let me know. A little birdie told me to be patient and wait a while for them to be re-released. If you love Oriental Stamps, you will love the Red Pearl line....it's a great line with unusual stamps. You'll be seeing me use many of these with the new folders. When I was done, I took out a stipple brush and edge brushed around the sides and over the top of the bamboo with Artichoke, SU ink, to give depth to the project. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I enjoyed making it. I just love when things turn out exactly as you see them in your mind, don't you! Warm hugz on chilly nights........
