A Rose for Mabel Lucie Attwell

Take a look at what I did,......... I actually water colored this beautiful image from the Mabel Lucie Attwell collection, from Jenn at the Artistic Stamper! I met Jenn at CHA. After we realized we knew who each others blogs were....we lol and hugged. She gave me this image, saying something like...you won't use it, you don't color! I told her of course I would use it, so here goes...most of you don't know me as the coloring kind....in fact, I don't own a Copic! This is colored using the Marker Colorwash Tech from the TJNL, and I added the Out of the Box tech also. Now about the r-o-s-e, my dear friend Hels from the Sunday Stamper has a rose challenge this week, so I thought why not. It's out of my comfort zone, but it works. (note the grungy bg, what'z my art without a little grunge!)

Thanks stoppin' by....hugz

The blue of the heart pin tucked away in the rose really brings the whole piece together colourwise. Its good to stretch yourself creatively and do the occassional 'out of comfort zone' piece. Fantastic!
