It's Artistic Outpost Release Day

I am so excited to share 2 new Artistic Outpost releases with you today! Talk about a "Gerrie" plate, the STEAMPUNK release just rockz! My first card to share I call The Headmaster's Favorite.

Check out the Headmaster's eyes! I've added some pebbles and added color with alcohol inks. The photo is from Twisted Papers, I thought it was fitting. The sprockets are from Tim's Idealology line. I've added the Burnt Edges tech to the photo from the TJNL.

The next share is from the Lovely Day release. I'm really likin' this plate alot. The sweet little lass is ready for a bike ride. I paper pieced her dress and masked the images, both TJNL tech's.

I painted both images using my new Creative Inspirations paints. To add the grass, I used a flat fan brush and swiped the paint on, ez pz! I didn't know painting was so much fun!

To celebrate this release, Artistic Outpost is featuring 15% off just about everything in their store**. Just use coupon code: spring2010_15 at check out, but hurry, this Coupon Code is only valid through March 31, 2010.

Lovely Day:
Inspired by the lovely country side of Holland, this collection features a Dutch bicycle complete with basket, a windmill that looks almost like a photo, but lends itself to coloring nicely, and an adorable little girl who is cradling a bouquet of flowers in her hands. Entire collection includes 9 images including multi-use quotations and sentiments.

SteamPunk:
Featuring 10 masculine, Victorian era images, Steampunk is a fun and diverse collection. These stamps will be perfect for an altered, grungy mixed-media piece or a simple "Father Day's" card.

(**Coupon code not good on EZMount products)
