Creative Cuts & More Blog Hop

I had the opportunity to join the Creative Cuts and More Blog Hop today for the first time. I'll tell ya', these diecuts sure make life easy! There are so many to choose from, I had a hard time making a decision as to what to order. If you came from Dawn's Blog you're in the right spot, it not you can head back to the Die Cut Diva Blog and start from the beginning. The Die Cut Diva Blog also has information on how you can enter to win 1 of 5 Gift Certificates! All new dies at Creative Cuts and More are also on special for 10% off!

For my first project I choose to go "girlie girl" with the Tiffany Purse die cut. I used the Antique Glimmers tech from the TJNL for my color, and then stamped the little dots for texture. I used Sizzix dies for the flowers etc., added some bling, and wow...I was done!
For my next project, I new exactly what I was going to do when I saw the Popcorn Box die cut. This went together so quickly, again...it's all in the diecut! I covered a piece of chipboard with some film reel tissue paper that I had in my stash, edged in red and brown; cut out Tim's Gear from metal tape and used some alcohol inks on it for age. I used Tim's. At The Movies stamp set and stamped all the pieces including the Popcorn box, ageing everything. I added the movie ad, aging it with the Spritz & Flick tech from the TJNL. The last thing I did was run a glue line and stood the movie tape into it! The finished piece is 7x9. It's going on my wall of fame unless I can get someone to buy it for big buck$, in my dreamz, lol!!!
It's been forever since I had the opportunity to play in my friend Hel's blog, but her theme this weeks is red, so I was able to play along! I hope you enjoy my projects as much as I did making them. Thanks for stopping by and don't forget....................Your next stop on the hop is Jennifer's Blog.

Love the girlie purse, but the Vintage Pop Corn Mixed Media is to die for - it would be cool framed.
