Compendium of Curiosities #8 -Imagination

To me, it's all about "imagination" in art.  I always wait for the stamps, technique or paper to talk to me before I can begin anything......anyone else out there like that?  My BFF seems to think I'm all alone in that regards.  It's the way I always buy paper and images too, hmmm, better buy more tinfoil!

Anyway, my imagination wasn't running full speed for this challenge....finally today it came to me, and it's done...better late than never.  This week at the CCC at Mz. Linda's, we were to work on Grungeboard.  Imo it's a shabby tech, good for somethings, not others.  The birdcage cut fantastically, I inked it in black and then added pewter Perfect Pearls.  I was surprised how well I could stamp on it, stamp by Lost Coast Designs and saying by Tim.

Thanks for stoppin' buy, hugz.............

Another fabulous work of art, Gerrie! The inked grunge looks awesome, and I LOVE the pewter PP over the black birdcage-- that really gives it a cool, aged metal look. The Einstein quote is one of my all-time favorites! The sweet pink embellishments are the perfect balance to the darker tones in the rest of the card. Love it!

Maybe I should be very afraid, but you are not alone in that regard! For this one the bird tweeted in my ear! There you are using the birdcage and so perfectly. Love the caged face! Very cool!

What a great image and it goes so well with the birdcage. I understand your technique perfectly. I never know how my art will turn out. I start with one thing and goes where it leads me.

Looks like the images were speaking loud and clear from you (yes, you are alone-he he). Great job with the sentiment and the colors.
