Compendium of Curiosities and Fun With ATC's

At the CCC this week, sweet Linda has challenged us to get Stickleized, and of course I had some fun!  I started out with an ATC for my Fun with ATC's group and ran with it.  You can see the ATC below.

If you are interested, I have some info on how I dyed my seam binding for this tag....it'll be a loong post today, so again, see down yonder.

My tag started out with the Distress Ink tech from the TJNL, just using up some ink I had left on my craft sheet, then I added a few stamps and some mists and thru it on the pile.  After making the atc, which by the way is part of Tim's newest releases of paper, I knew the tag would be my base.  I added some di inks and then stamped on Tim's barbed wire and bats, glued on that atc, added the ticket from Tim's 100th stamp sheet, and the pumpkin nestie that I cut out of metal, sanded, colored with ai's and then started with the stickles!  I used Distress Stickles in Peeled Paint, Milled Lavender and Clear Rock Candy.  Added my fab pile of ribbon and wha-la!

Here is the ATC I started out with for the Fun with ATC Challenge

And now about the ribbon.  A blog friend, so sorry...I can't rem who, told me she did it, and it was easy, so I ran with the flow.  I ordered my seam binding from here...I got white and and watched a video on Utube...sorry my link is broken, so you'll have to search.  Anyway, I did 4 colors, 1 with di refill, and I like them all.  The dark purple is the one from the refill.  The rest were done with various sprays, to my liking.  I wanted the tye dye wrinkle look.  If you want it straighter, just spray with H20 and finger iron to your straightness.  Have fun, I did, and here's my ribbons.

Hugs.....

Holy Cats, this is cool, Gerrie!!! That vintage paper is awesome, and because I adore you I'm not even jealous that you already got your hands on it (okay, I'm a little jealous, but in a loving way). This tag is absolute Halloween perfection in every way, and the Distress Stickles look great. The stamps rock, the metal pumpkin rocks-- geez, the whole thing ROCKS!

I never knew I needed seambinding, but now I'm going to go buy some, because those ribbons are sensational!
