Rosettes and Bottle Caps

Back from CHA, and trying hard to catch up, unwind and stamp!  I missed the last 2 weeks at Bloggers Challenge, and it's good to be back.  This week we have a great sketch to use,

and I got to recycle something from a Make & Take at Ranger, Tim's new Rosette die.  It's very deceiving when you look at the die, but do look at the finished flower, cool....right!  I incorporated a little bottle cap art from an old TJNL issue, used some great papers from my stash and one of Tim's new Fades, Checkerboard.  Geesh, do I luv Tim's stuff or what!!  It's really his fault I became the Queen of Grunge!  I'm also playing in my friend Hel's, Sunday Stamper this week, Something Old Something New, as well as The Artistic Stamper Creative Team blog.  Thanks so much for stoppin' by.  ...................hugz

Dear Gerrie~

Welcome back! Isn't CHA so much fun! I loved it when they came to Orlando last year. I went crazy!

I absolutely love that rosette...in fact, I would be thrilled to find one in my mailbox one day! lol (Laughing but true.) You are such a versatile artist.

I LOVE this sketch. I am really concentrating on sketches...beause I am a layering-phobic! Everything is neat little rectangles or whatever. I am hoping the Newsletter will encourage me to rip a bit, mix a bit more...your art is very inspiring. I came from Lisa's blog to yours. She is really incredible too. So that is how I spend my days. Looking at how the two of you have made what you have shared! Awesome!

This one I LOVE!
