Embossed Snowman Tag

This week at Simon Says Stamp and Show the challenge is a tag....so I sit down yesterday and embossed, and then said ok, "now what"?  I got so frustrated I just walked out and never went back....then you know what happens right....you dream about it all night! lol

Of course we all know that Tim's folders really emboss deep, but what I learned was that I could fit the embossed image back on top of the plate and work with different mediums it's easier that way.  i.e., I used a dauber and inked up the images very easily; then I applied Rock Candy Stickies the same way.  I also like the look of my silver edges, I used the Ranger silver paint dabber in the same way we use our handled sponges, just swiping them on the edge.  The cute little Santa and sleigh is from Kitchen Sink Stamps, and the Believe is from an old SU set.  When all done, I spritzed with Rangers new Pearl, Perfect Pearl Mist....and found out that I could easily remove it with my finger tool where I didn't want it (like on the snowman, snowflake and Santa and friends.)  Amazing what a new day brings us isn't it....all you have to do is....
believe!  hugz.........

This also qualifies for the Simon Says Challenge Blog, Snow and the Ranger yahoo group, mist it.

Pretty clever of you to figure out that easier technique. Love the snowman tag.

Don't let this go to your head, but that sounds brilliant and I hope I am understanding you correctly. If not, expect an e-mail! I "believe" your tag is stunning! I love the frosted look and the Santa sleigh in the background! So cool!
