CR84FN12 meets Blogger Challenge

It's been a loooong day!  I struggled with the colors for the CR84FN challenge, Pink, Lavender and Kraft all week, and here we are the last day, and I'm finally posting.  Funny, these just are not colors that I use very often, so I guess a challenge is a challenge fer' sure.  Here is my 5 hour card, lol!!!, and you are just going to have to believe me when I say the color behind the oval is lavender....as I couldn't get it to photograph well at all.  Don't tell, but I even had to run out and buy a sheet of paper to play in this challenge!  shhhhh...........

...and here is the inspiration piece....

This card also works for this weeks Bloggers Challenge group, birthday cards.

The image was embossed and then colored using the pencil over marker tech and the wisped frames tech from the TJNL. The little butterflies were inked and sprayed with pearl.

How pretty! Glad you played along, even if it did take you 5 hours! The lovely bouquet looks wonderful in the spellbinders die. Thanks for playing at CR84FN

Holy cow...5 hours. You poor thing. I hate that you had to go buy paper to play along. BUT, it is very pretty. I love that beaded ovals set and it is perfect with the pretty flowers and butterflies. :)

Too funny, Gerrie! You're right these definitely don't look like your kind of colors! I have a lot of them you could have borrowed! LOL!

Gerrie, this is soooooo lovely! I can't imagine these colors being a challenge as I often live in purples and pinks...but like you said, a challenge is a challenge. To me, any other challenge would be a challenge! LOL

I love how soft this is...and the pearl spray...WOW! Very sparkly, shiny, pearlish!

I love the die cuts in the oval shape for flowers. The blooms are so pretty. Hydrangea? There are about a million little blossoms in one "bunch."

I really like this card, and need to look to see what the pencil over ink technique really involves.

Thanks for the start of a sparkly day!
