Artistic Outpost is Celebrating This Month

Welcome to our March release!  Not only are we celebrating the release of 3 new sets, we are also excited to be celebrating Women's History Month, 2012.

This card was so easy to create using the Secretary set and G45 papers.
Secretary Pool: Featuring retro images including a typewriter, paper clip, staple collage, telephone, and a wonderful vintage alphabet.  Enjoy creating whimsical cards and other works of art with this versatile vintage collection.

I used the Distress Watercolor tech on this image and then added flower soft.  Don't you just love this lace die from HFC!  The most exciting thing about this card is that I actually made a bow!!  Now this probably is an everyday thing for you, but if you notice, I almost never use ribbon or tie bows cuz my thumbs don't work so well.  The other day, my BFF told me about this peg bowmaker, and I found one on YouTube, complete with directions....DH made it right away, and I am able to use it successfully!  I'm sure you'll be seeing more ribbon and bows on my work now.

Flower Market: Inspired by the famous flower markets of France, this collection of spring images includes 13 images including daffodils, lavender, and poppies.

Quotes and Quotables: Women, ladies, girls...they say the darndest things. Great quote by great ladies!

Be sure to stop by and see what the other Designers created with the new releases:

Lisa Somerville * Suzanne Czosek * Anita Houston * Linda Coughlin * Tracy Evans * Yvonne Garner

Fabulous cards, GF! Wow that G-45 paper was made for those stamps! That lace die is quite lovely and your bow! Like you, I avoid ribbon and bows and pretty much for the same reason! Have a great day!

Hi Gerrie! Beautiful inspiration pieces! Love the background paper and how it pulls everything together on your first piece. And that lacy die and your color choices on the second card are just so feminine and springlike. How sweet of your DH to make you a bow maker. Beautiful touch and we will all look forward to more pretty bows from you on your work. Hope all is well! Best wishes, Yvonne
