I'm currently enrolled in a class at My Creative Classroom, playing and learning mixed media. This is the project for week 1.......(week 3 was just posted), so it took some time for me to get into the project and feel good about the art. Layers and layers and layers, all sealed inbetween....quite interesting, but I'm certainly not "there" yet.
We recently got new furniture and I've been struggling with colors, lamps, pictures, etc. I finally decided on browns, rust/red and green for my colors, and I used those colors in my work. Now just to frame and hang it.
Finished piece is approx 7 x 10 and will fit on a small wall. Thanks for stopping.

Those are some of my favorite colors and love this piece! I really should sign up for a class of mixed media! Too cool!
