I LOVE THE PAPER BOY !!

I do! I do!! and you will too when you see all the wonderful images in the new Artistic Outpost, Paperboy plate being released today.

This plate has amazing images of the "newsies" which were used as the inspiration for Artistic Outpost's newest release, Paperboy. This collection features iconic newsboys and girls from the early 1900's when children hocked the latest news on the street corners of America's busiest cities. The neighborhood news stand was part of local life growing up.  We had one on our corner and it was where the neighborhood men gathered to talk about the latest news, smoke their cigars and buy ciggies.  Also included are a newsprint collage, a megaphone for announcing the latest and greatest, and sentiments professing that "you are the hero in your own story".

The collection is available in the Artistic Outpost Store, in both unmounted sheets of red rubber for $14 or mounted on EZ Mount cling foam and pre-cut for you for $22.99. Mounted version comes with a cling card for easy storage.

Here are 2 of my cards for this release.

The base for this card is something I had in my stash from who knows when.  When I looked at it, I knew it was due able.  Most of the bg colors were already there....so it was just a matter of stamping.

I actually stamped on tissue paper and adhered this to a large puzzle piece that I painted and stamped on with the wonderful newsprint bg stamp from this set.  The flower is from a piece of a paper towel that sits on the bottom of my spray box, at all times, and run thru a die.

Please be sure to stop by the other designers blogs and leave a little love.
