It's a Guy Thing

This month, the Artistic Outpost Design Team is doing a masculine blog hop. Be sure to scroll down and see what everyone else is doing this month.

I used the Charles and Amelia set this month, and have some bad allergies and an eye infection thingie going on.......vision is limited, so I'm using this as an excuse to use the very masculine Amelia stamp instead of sweet Charles, lm-o!  I didn't realize this until my son looked at what I was working on and said something to me.....so.............laugh and enjoy, it's just to late to start over!!

I decided to do pink and blue Steampunk for the hop, the bg paper is a piece of junk mail, stenciled, embossed and inked.  Wings are a piece of stenciled scrap that I embossed.

I was trying to be funny Steampunk when I started, but now the laughs on ME!

Stop by and see what the other designers created

Gerri you crack me up. My kids thought Amelia was a man too in that picture. :) Love your funny steampunk with the wings on Amelia I bet she would have loved having those wings too! Cool background!

And why shouldn't Amelia get to be in the Masculine bloghop... she took the men on at their own game and beat most of them hollow! Plenty Masculine!! A fabulous make - love those steampunk butterfly wings, and the propellor hat is so cool!
Do hope your eyes settle down soon...

Okay, so I have to admit, I thought that was Charles in that plate too - thanks for setting me straight Gerrie! At any rate, I love the junk mail BG and the butterfly wings are so very cool. Super make this time around. I sure hope your eye infection clears up and that you are back at peak health very soon!

Hugs,

This is a great project! I adore the propeller on the cap. And the story about Amelia is too funny.

Great card! All the elements go together nicely. If you had not told me that was Amelia, I would have thought it was a man! Looks like one! :-) Great job. With everything blooming here in Florida, my allergies have gone haywire! So I know how you feel. I hope you feel better soon.
