Envelope Art

There's a first for everything, this is my first envelope art.  As nervous as I was about figuring it all out, I was genuinely surprised how easy it all came together.

At the Roc Nicholas Facebook group, we are having an envelope swap.  You send one, you get one in return.  Sounds like fun to me.  Roc Nicholas'
designs stamps for Stampotique Stamps.....so of course, you need to use her stamps in the design.  And yes............this is exactly how it's going into the mail, only with the address of course!  (I really don't want to let it go tho...)  I did link you direct to Roc's stamp page.

Guess what.............this week at Lisa's Blogger Challenge it's ENVELOPE ART!  Didn't that work out great for me, thanks Lisa!xx

I'm sure you can tell how much fun I had making this envie art!  You really have to see where the left hand side of the envelope images came from, cuz I think it turned out so perfect!

The colors aren't exactly correct, I think it's even brighter irl!, and the pinks turned red.

No stress, all FUN!, and I love stamping this way!

Gerrie, I am sure my laptop screen just got a whole lot brighter!
WOW the colours are so fabulously intense. I sure do wish I could embrace colour in this way.
Whoever receives this will be certainly having a Happy Mail Day.

oh Gerrie, it is so fun and bright, I love your envelope!! It's really perfect for Roc's swap. For a fist trial it is really a masterstroke, I even more regret to not have found the time to join in this time.. :( I wish I could play with you, Sam and the others, will do it the next time. At least I plan to do it absolutely. Have a good Sunday, Hugs xx
PS: I will stamp for you some images you'd like to have, just let me a few days... ;)

Wow! You leave blog world for most of a year or two and new things pop up! I've never seen envelope art! I love your envelope! The colors are so vibrant and alive! The images are so creative! Looks like you found another creative arena to play in!

You may have slipped from my sight for a while...but not from my mind or heart!
