I made this one first, it's about 3 x 5
The crown, flower and flourishes are all grungepaper...and this was my first time really stamping and coloring it, other than a teensy piece here and there...it works wonders for your projects. Then I moved up and made this project...........again, step by step, right out of her book......
I had to improvise with stamps, but you got the idea. The flattened bottle cap was my addition rather than a piece of chipboard and I really like it. I even got to add the Spritz & Flick Tech from the TJNL! It's amazing how you can shape your flowers and pieces to add depth and charm to your art. This piece is 6 x 6. And now to the part you are all waiting for, what is she giving away...........the candy is a brand new copy of Wendy's book 2, just for you!
All you have to do is leave me a comment on this blog post and come back on Monday, April 19th to see if you won. I'll let the random number picker thingie choose a winner. Just stunning! I'll have to look for the book!
I absolutely love what you have made, Gerrie. I love the book page and the face as a focal image in the first one, and the bottle cap, etc on the second one,

Those are just gorgeous! I almost bought that book the other day, but I took the Stash Bust Challenge, so no purchasing anything during the month of April. Oy, but I was tempted. Thanks for the chance to win one and save me from myself.
You did a great job on both pieces, Gerrie. Love the colors and stamp choices. I especially love the bottle cap embelly. It's really eye-popping! (pun intended -- lol) I've been waiting for my LSS to get the book in so I could buy one; but, it hasn't come yet. Thanks so much for providing an opportunity to win it! I hope that random number picker picks me!

OMG That is so cool.. Thank you for sharing with us
I always find it best to have some inspiration for a project and I suffer from "blank page" disease. It's so much easier to have something to give you that push.
These pieces are amazing! I love your use of the bottle cap for the eye, that is brilliant! Wendy's book looks to be very worthwhile; I know I have never done much with the grunge paper either, some tips would be great. Cheers!
These are super-fantastic! And I would love to win Wendy's new book.
Love your projects! Collage is a style that I love but doesn't come easily to my linear brain. Thanks for the chance to win this treasure!
