These weeks are just flying by, lol! This week over on Linda's blog we are working on learning Multi Medium Collage. Very interesting tech, and I'll use it again and again. I've used chipboard, book pages and Multi Medium (gosh I luv this stuff!) many times, but not like this. I'm very excited about the outcome, because it turned out exactly as I wanted it to when I read the tech. I was able to complete this challenge and also play in Hel's challenge this week, as she had a choice, and I went with one of her fav groups "Journey".
I learned a lot doing this tech....too much glue is too much work! .....An emery board works well as does a battery operated nail file! lol.......use pieces with little or no tiny grooves to get into for the next time............and Brilliance Blue ink on top of the newspaper looks like velvet! Quiet a bit, I must say!
The fades folder and die cuts are from Tim's line of course, and I even added a word in the little stick pin thingie for fun! Thanks for lookin', until next week.....hugz.....
P.S. I just found out that this fits the theme at Tag Tuesday too!

Wow, GF, you've taken this to the stratosphere! What a gorgeous, beautifully designed work of art. I LOVE the primary colors-- they give this so much energy and a really happy feel, and (as always) the details you've added are perfection. I knew you'd rock the Multi Medium, and you did, in fact, rock it like a hurricane! ;-)
Suddenly, I find myself wanting a battery-operated nail file very badly...
Very cool! Wonderful use of the tech, and that folder is just perfect for your collage!
I love how all of these techniques came together for such a wonderful piece!
