Covered Bridge

Today I'm focusing on one of my favorite sets from Artistic Outpost, Old Grist Mill.  If you aren't familiar with this set, check it out.  I choose to use the covered bridge from the set.  I think I have seen less than a dozen of these beautiful bridges.

This image is stamped on coated card stock using black Archival ink.  I water colored with an almost dry water brush using Andirondack Light Inks.  (The brush was void of water)  If you use this tech,  you need to color quickly before  your brush dries out.  hugs...........

Wonderful card, I love that stamp. I happen to have a bridge that looks exactly like that near me, a person tends to take it for granted when you see it all the time.

Gerrie, this is a striking card! I love this bride, which reminds me of "The Bridges of Madison County." BTW, Happy Birthday! When I saw it was Lisa's B-Day, I remembered you share the same day! Have a blast, GF!

Hi Gerrie~

Thank you for sharing this technique with us! (Well, with me anyway.) I love the covered bridge...they are in New England for sure! This is my favorite AO Stamp Set. I will be trying this technique soon. Archival ink...I don't have any. Does Staz-on or Versa Mark work? Thanks for sharing such a fabulous card with us, Sweetie! This is great. It'd make a beautiful sky!
